Reducing Conflict In the Workplace

Conflict is a natural part of human interaction but we need to understand it when it arises and to know how to deal with it to protect well-being, reputation and collaboration.

Conflict may arise in any context where people come together, in person, by telephone, by email, social media or any other form of interaction.

Conflict doesn't always have to be destructive, though, at worst when handled correctly it can be a respectful parting of ways and at best an opportunity to learn and grow.

A restorative approach to all we do can prepare us to offer and receive supportive challenge from colleagues, clients, learners or service participants.
