Experience 

Sandie is a Trainer and Practitioner at Wales Restorative Approaches Partnership. Sandie has experience working within the criminal justice system, working directly with people in prison to support them to make a change for them to progress and develop their skills for their future and reintegration into the community.

Sandie started her career in the prison service working with Invisible Walls as a Family Intervention Facilitator, working to build bonds between families of residents within the custodial setting and break down barriers by facilitating programmes such as Fathers Inside. Sandie then joined the Rehabilitation Interventions Facilitator team also with in the criminal justice system, this included delivering group rehabilitation programmes and working with individuals on a one-to-one basis. During this time Sandie  was able to build on her own interpersonal skills and develop her understanding of restorative approaches and the positive impact it can have.
