Business continuity at Wales Restorative Approaches Partnership

As a client, co-operative partner or member of Wales Restorative Approaches Partnership, we wanted to provide you with an update on the steps we’re taking in response to the COVID-19 coronavirus outbreak. Our thoughts and best wishes go out to everyone affected and the services stretched to their limits trying to meet needs.

The health and wellbeing of our colleagues and clients are of paramount importance. We are following official UK Government and industry guidance. We are also acutely aware that we need to balance this with ensuring that we have systems and processes in place to provide a seamless level of service, to rapidly meet the new needs and changes for us all.

Our key area of focus initially has been to expand our remote working arrangements so that we can operate effectively in a flexible, accessible, safe and agile way.

We have now adapted and increased our offer of restorative support and existing and new training to be available remotely. We are happy to coach staff in how to use different aspects of various platforms as part of our training as we all adapt together

We are still

  • offering online alternatives for training, support of individuals and teams
  • restorative and wellbeing practice, coproduction and consultancy services
  • increasing the amount of materials, resources and training that can be accessed online including webinars
  • available via email, phone and social media
  • offering 1:1 and team support via Skype, Zoom, Microsoft teams or GoTo Meetings

For 6 years Wales Restorative Approaches Partnership has been a quality assured provider of training, practice and consultancy services. We enable individuals to build, maintain and repair relationships; personally, and professionally. We have supported individuals and services to gain a greater self-understanding of their strengths and wellbeing needs; supported vulnerable communities to work to find their voice and co-produce solutions themselves; and helped teams become more healthy, collaborative and high-performing especially in times of pressure, trauma and conflict.

We recognise that the outbreak of Covid-19 will present many of our clients with unique and unprecedented challenges in terms of how they manage their work.   We are doing our level best as an organisation to develop services to meet new and amplified need and continue with business as usual while being a responsible employer.
